The company is a joint venture between Vodafone Group and Verizon Communications. Verizon Wireless offers many products and features for mobile phones such as V Cast Mobile TV, Vodaphone, SMS, MMS, and its unique Get it Now service. Its phones and services are of some of the best known throughout the country. 
	Get it Now is an application on most Verizon phones that allows users to download and use programs straight from their cellular phones. Users can download ringtones, music, games, instant messaging services, and even a GPS navigation system. There is an endless list of applications that users can download. There are a few steps in using Get it Now\'s service. First, a user must have a phone that enables the program. Next, the user must browse through the Get it Now catalogue on his or her phone and find and download the application he wishes. The charge will be automatically added to the monthly phone bill. Next, he can use the application for amusement, to find information, or to purchase and download ringtones. (Downloading uses airtime and minutes) The main type of application that users purchase through Get It Now is ringtones. Verizon supplies users with thousands of ringtones to choose from through the Get it Now program including hit songs, TV and movie themes, and sound effects. 
Phones that enable music downloading are able to download songs, ringtones, ring back tones, and performances through V Cast Mobile, located in Get it Now. V Cast mobile also allows users with compatible phones to download videos, mobile TV, and games. It provides streaming video clips and allows for more advanced games with 3D graphics to be played. In addition to these applications, users can also download news, sports, and weather information, along with picture and email applications for their phone. Some V Cast applications may require airtime, but most V Cast plans give unlimited airtime for all applications. 
	In addition to these, Verizon customers can also download ring back tones from Get it Now. A ring back tone is the ringing that a caller hears after dialing a number, before their call is answered. Recently, personalized ring back tones have become extremely popular. This feature allows users to purchase or download an audio clip for callers to hear while they wait for the receiver to pick up the call. This audio clip can include songs, recorded messages, special effects, or sounds effects. Because of the growing popularity of these ring back tones, many companies have begun to supply personalized ring back equipment for mobile phones. Users may define specific callers to whom the personalized ring back tone with apply. The callers the user does not select will hear the traditional normal ring back tone.
